People who have not visited Yakutia think that it is a place that is covered with snow all over the year, and native people live in yurts and ride on deers. But they are wrong. Yakutia is different from every other destination in the world. Comprising half of the Far Eastern Federal District, it is developed and the largest subnational governing body by area in the world and you can expect a lot from this huge and fascinating country. Every day offers an unforgettable memory: wild animals and birds, glaciers and mountains, unique Native cultures. There are wild reserves and national parks to visit. One of them is “Lena Pillars”. The most famous way to go to this place is by boat, cruising along Lena River on the luxury ship and exploring the mountains, beautiful valleys and ancient trees. Another place to visit is Sottinci. It is a wonderful place, beautiful open-air complex with traditional yakut houses, merchant's ancient residents, XVII century church and rare exhibits of yakut people culture.
