Every single year paper companies have to curtail the production of paper more and more. However, there are a lot of people who believe that our world cannot exist without paper. So, what future has the paper production?
There are many things to be said in favour of paper. First of all, paper has its unique history and still its valuable place in our every days life. One of the main advantages of paper using is its availability. Paper is cheap and handy. In spite of more and more people prefer e-mails to ordinary mails, buy e-books instead of paper books, important documents are still printed in paper, because it is more reliable.
On the other hand, paper production depletes the natural resources. We all realize that such a careless treatment of forests cannot go on forever. In addition to this, with the development of technologies computers will replace paper. Some analysts forecast that printed books will rise in price. Furthermore, paper-printed documents and books take too much place. All we know the problem of shelves, bookcases and rooms filled up with them and it is impossible to find anything from there.
Taking everything into account, I can say that future of paper production companies is rather gloomy. It seems to me that new technologies will completely replace the paper. It will be preserved only in museums and archives, so our progeny will wonder how it is to be used.
