INTRODUCTION
An important step in the process of writing an essay (report, project) is the introduction. The introduction, especially the introductory paragraph, is important for a number of reasons. If it is clearly constructed, it will introduce the subject, perhaps with a definition and indicate the structure of the essay by giving an overview of the content in sequence.
